Transmiter Clamps are used to apply the transmitter signal to an insulated line, removing the need to connect the transmitter signal directly to a conductor or cable sheath. Transmitting Sondes are small transmitting coil which may be built into a product such as a sewer camera or packaged as a small self contained battery powered transmitter.

VM-540 Sonde and Camera Locator The VM-540 Receiver can locate the vCam series cameras, sondes and crawler camera systems. The receiver comes with Sonde frequencies of 512Hz and 33kHz and with a passive 60Hz mode which will detect the presence of power lines, CATV, telephone and some metallic pipes which radiate 60 Hz from nearby or overhead power lines and VLF signal from nearby broadcast towers.

vLocCam2 Sonde and Camera Locator The vLocCam2 Sonde and Camera locator is a lightweight, durable locator with a color display, and USB interface. Push button depth displays your depth of cover in feet and inches. The vLocCam Receiver comes standard with sonde/camera frequencies of 8 kHz, 33 kHz, 512 Hz and 640 Hz. This frequency range also provides versatility for locating both metallic and nonmetallic pipes, drains and ducts. The vLocCam2 receiver is equipped with two “passive” locate modes of Power and Radio which will detect the presence of power lines, CATV, telephone and some metallic pipes which radiate 60 Hz from nearby or overhead power lines and VLF signal from nearby broadcast towers.
